About the role

Join our team as an Employability and Skills Tutor – Functional Skills & ESOL. Are you passionate about helping people unlock their potential? We’re looking for a dynamic Employability and Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and support across primarily Functional Skills English, ESOL programmes and Employability.

What You’ll Do:

Inspire and engage learners in classroom, online, and workplace settings.
Deliver tailored lessons that build confidence with practical and functional skills for employment.
Support learners through enrolment, initial assessment, and progress reviews.
Use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to create an outstanding learning experience.
Work closely with employers and stakeholders to help learners progress into work or further education.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
About the person

The successful candidate will hold:

Qualified teacher/trainer (Level 3 or above) certificate with experience in Functional Skills and ESOL.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
A proactive approach to continuous professional development.
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and high-quality education.
