Religious Youth Support Worker
Job Description
Role/Key Responsibilities:
• To support the lead Pastor and other Pastors and Ministers in providing administrative duties and engaging in activities like outreaches and all religious activities.
• Volunteer as street witness sharing the love of God in the community.
• Represent the church in the community and participate in youth community events.
• Community engagement and promoting the activities of the Church within the community amongst the younger adults.
• Support in organizing and participating in outreach programs, such as visiting the sick or elderly, and connecting with those in need.
• Promoting the charity’s vision and objectives within the local community, documenting and communicating feedback to the administrator, departmental leaders and the trustees of the Charity.
• Buy into the vision, mission and objectives of the Charity and attend all charity programs and events.
• Participation in Social Outreach programs including Evangelism, Food bank and the Cultural Food Care Project.
• Youth training and coordination.
• Motion & Visual Design including leaflets, charity events videos and graphic design.
• Creative photography to cover Charity programs, services and events.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to build relationships and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintaining & updating Social Media platforms.
• To fulfil ministry duties via direction from the Lead Pastors.
• Any other task as directed by the lead Pastors.
Skills and experience:
• Committed, Matured Christian with ability to lead teams.
• Ability to work on own initiative and help to deliver the Charity objectives.
• Proficiency in Social Media Platforms
• Proven accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility and self-motivation.
• Confidence, diligence, and approachability
• Timely and efficient with ministry tasks assigned to them.
