Summary

Supply Sessional Lecturer Travel and Tourism, City College Norwich


Variable hours per week, 52 weeks per year


£29.51 per hour including holiday pay.





We are seeking an aspirational and motivated sessional lecturer in Travel and Tourism to join our dynamic team at CCN. The role involves teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, with a particular focus on practical and specialist areas of the curriculum such as Cabin Crew and Travel Retail.


The ideal candidate will have industry experience within the travel and tourism sector, ideally including cabin crew and/or travel retail, and be passionate about inspiring and preparing students for future careers in this exciting field.


As part of this role, the successful applicant will:


Plan and deliver engaging and relevant lessons tailored to a range of learning needs.
Set up and lead practical sessions that incorporate relevant theory and industry-standard knowledge.
Ensure clear progression pathways and high-quality outcomes for all learners.

Our Travel and Tourism curriculum is regarded as a national leader in this area, and we are looking for someone who will support and further enhance the professional and technical development of our learners.


While a teaching qualification and prior experience in an education setting are desirable, we also welcome applications from highly skilled industry professionals who are looking to transition into teaching.
