Summary
To work with the sonographers to provide a high quality service to all patients from a diverse, multicultural background meeting the needs of the individual patients. To liaise with the staff in ANC to try to match the needs of the individual clinics. To assist the admin staff booking antenatal scans within the correct time scale to align with clinic appointments and to meet KPIs for screening. To work with the Screening support sonographer, Obstetricians and screening team to ensure results are available for MDT, and to make referrals as directed by the clinicians and sonographers to primary centres for additional specialised scans. Attendance at the weekly fetal MDT is required. To ensure the ultrasound department is a safe, comfortable environment for patients and their families.
