Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Emergency Services Specialist to lead sales for our medical-grade Automated External Defibrillator (AED) range within the emergency medical services sector. This role is perfect for someone with a strong track record in medical equipment sales and significant experience working with Emergency Services. You’ll use your sector expertise and commercial acumen to understand customer needs, strengthen partnerships, and consistently exceed revenue goals.
About You
GCSE-level education (or equivalent) in Maths and English as a minimum, with relevant higher education desirable.
Proven sales experience within the emergency services or medical equipment sector, supported by a strong understanding of AEDs and emergency response.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
Strong organisational skills, including CRM proficiency, data analysis capability, and the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.
Self-motivated team player with experience of public-sector procurement and an established network within emergency services.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events, and commitment to demonstrating SJA’s HEART values.
About the Role
Build and maintain strong relationships with emergency services clients, delivering expert product knowledge, demonstrations, and tailored recommendations.
Promote and sell a wide range of medical supplies (including AEDs, trauma kits, and consumables) while achieving sales targets and managing accurate CRM records.
Lead end-to-end sales activity, including proposals, quotations, tender submissions, product launches, presentations, and customer training.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and support product development through market insight and customer feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, training, and high levels of customer satisfaction across all emergency services accounts.
Represent the organisation at industry events and stay up to date with sector regulations, procurement frameworks, market trends, and competitor activity.
