Job Purpose:I am a 10-year-old boy with diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. I love gaming and watching TV. I prefer being outside and do some type of child let physical activities because I have a lot of energy. I would like my Personal Assistant to take part in the activities outside, currently I enjoy swimming and gymnastics.If things change suddenly, I can become angry and distressed. I also may run away. You would therefore need to be able to deescalate tensions and direct me to expend my energy in a positive way.

Location: IP25, Watton
Details:Support with activities both indoors and out.

Person specificationEssential:Patient and empathetic.Active and fun loving.Able to keep up with me.

Desirable:Experience of supporting children with Autism and ADHD.

Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour· Hours and times of work: 4 hours fortnightly, on Saturdays. Exact timing will be discussed during the interview.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid and Autism.

Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
