Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds a good honours degree, Qualified Teacher Status and either a National Award in SEN Coordination or a National professional qualification (NPQ) for SENCOs or a willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment
• Experience of working with children with a range of SEN
• Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning
• Sound knowledge of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice
