• Naturally positive with a clear vision and passion for all phases of primary education
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated professional with the energy and vision to play a major role in continuing to move our school forward. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and leader with a firm commitment to achieving aspirational outcomes for all children. As a non - class based Deputy Headteacher this post offers a genuine opportunity to work in partnership with the Headteacher to develop and hone leadership qualities and skills required for headship.

Copnor Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment. If successfully shortlisted, as part of the identity checks, an online search will be conducted to meet the safeguarding duties set out in KCSIE 2025. The search will not form part of the actual shortlisting process and any concerns as a result of this check will be discussed prior to the interview.
