This role involves the delivery of car-related parts using a Class 1 double deck vehicle, delivering to RDC's all over the country so some long-distance travel will be involved. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable driver to secure adhoc and ongoing work with a well-established company.
Job Vacancy: Class 1 Night Driver (Double Deck Vehicle) - £17.00/hr
Location: Hellaby (Rotherham)
Working week: Sunday to Saturday Nights
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Double Manning Involved
Job Duties:
- Night-time trunking of car parts to delivery destinations across the UK
- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) double decker vehicle
- Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported
- Working as part of a double-manned team for long-distance routes
- Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to all transport legislation
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with double deck vehicles preferred
- Minimum 1 year class 1 experience
- Comfortable with night shifts and overnight routes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Working week runs Sunday-Saturday
- Approximate start times between 8pm to 00.00 midnight
