We are seeking an educational professional to support students with a wide range of learning needs and disabilities. The successful candidate will work one to one with students under the direction of our SENDCo, to help students access the curriculum and school environment by following strategies set out in EHCPs, IEPs and support plans. The role involves supporting students' learning, communication, behaviour and emotional regulation. The role will also create a safe and inclusive learning environment, helping to ensure all students, regardless of their abilities, have the opportunity to succeed in their education
We value our staff and believe in them. We offer you training and support to develop, along with a friendly and supportive team of colleagues to work with too.
Our core rule is simple: you must care about our students. They are at the heart of everything we do, and we are united in our mission to provide them with the best possible educational experience.
Wigston Academies Trust comprises Wigston Academy (11–16) and Wigston College (16–19). Both institutions were rated as “Strong Good” in their latest OFSTED inspections (May and June 2022).
