Summary
Alder Brook is provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health in Winton, Salford. We have also recently opened a second site in Irlam. We educate pupils on site in KS1 & KS2.
We are currently recruiting a Passenger Assistant to work on our home to school transport.
This role is to assist children with various special education needs, and help ensure they are transported to school in a safe and caring way.
The role is 20 hours part time 5 days a week and is school term time only. The passenger assistant will be collected and dropped off by the vehicle driver each day at a specified location.
Our school hours are 9am 2.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 1pm Friday. The post holder will be expected to work 4hours per day over a split shift of 2 x 2hours. Hours may include a 7.30am 7.45am start and an afternoon finish time up to 4pm 4.15pm (1.30 2.30pm on Friday)
You must have a caring nature, be very reliable, and be able to commit to working all school days during the school year.
