Summary

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to regain control of your work-life balance?

Do you want the excitement of working in different primary schools without the pressure of a permanent contract?

Are you ready to join the leading education agency in Leeds and secure guaranteed full-time work?

If you answered "yes" to these questions, Randstad Education wants to hear from you. We are currently facing a high demand for dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time supply basis across Leeds. We are looking for adaptable, energetic, and resilient support staff who can hit the ground running and make a real impact in our partner schools.

Whether you are an experienced HLTA, a newly qualified support assistant, or a graduate looking for classroom experience before your PGCE, we have the work for you.

About the Role: As a full-time Supply TA, you will become a vital part of the classroom team. No two days will be the same, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Class Teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who require extra support (including SEN and EAL).

  • Managing behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning environment.

  • Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management.

  • Building rapport quickly with staff and students to ensure continuity of learning.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a primary school setting (voluntary or paid) is essential.

  • Qualification: CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree equivalent) is desirable but not essential if you have strong experience.

  • Attitude: You must be proactive, flexible, and willing to travel to different schools within the Leeds area.

  • Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and two professional references.

Why join Randstad Education?

  • Volume of Work: We are the leading agency in Leeds; we can offer you consistent, full-time hours.

  • Flexibility: Manage your own availability via our easy-to-use App.

  • Support: A dedicated, local consultant who knows the Leeds schools and matches you to the right environments.

  • Refer a Friend: Earn £300 in shopping vouchers for every teacher or TA you recommend to us!

How to Apply: This is an excellent opportunity to build your reputation in local schools and open doors to long-term or permanent roles.

If you are ready to start your next chapter with Randstad, please apply today with your CV or contact our Leeds Primary Team for a confidential chat.

Randstad Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and referencing.
