AW Lumb & Co is seeking a qualified Management Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) to join our finance team in Dewsbury.
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week, with flexibility over how the hours are arranged. The position also offers a
clear route to full-time in the future, including the opportunity to take on duties currently handled by the Financial Controller.
What You’ll Do:
* Prepare management accounts, financial statements and supporting analysis
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and correct variances
* Produce sales and margin analysis for the commercial team
* Support the purchase ledger and credit control teams when required
* Provide accurate financial information to non-financial managers
* Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems
* Support general financial operations in a busy, hands-on environment

What You’ll Need:
* Qualified accountant – ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
* Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
