Responsibilities
Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of residential properties to assess compliance with HIA standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout construction phases.
Identify potential risks and issues related to building designs, materials, and compliance.
Provide expert guidance and advice on best practices within the HIA sector to clients and team members.
Review and evaluate survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
Participate in meetings and workshops to communicate findings and advise on necessary corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a surveyor, particularly in residential or commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of HIA regulations, surveying standards, and industry practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
Proficiency in using surveying software and technologies relevant to the HIA sector.
