Your new role
An excellent career opportunity for a Planner to join a reputable contractor on an interim basis for 3 months. This role will see you work closely with the works and be involved in the tender elements of planning as well as having your own assigned site programmes.
Reporting to the Senior Management team, your new role will support the company by identifying, controlling, and forecasting timescales and resourcing requirements for upcoming projects.
You will work alongside site-based Project & Contract Managers in implementing best practices and project planning policies, processes, and procedures during the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion.
You will be responsible for accurately identifying and resourcing requirements for projects including labour, plant, and materials. You will provide support for all planning functions, ensuring that issues or delays within the programme are highlighted and understood by all.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must be a highly motivated and career minded individual who is available immediately from January 26. You must be commercially aware and technically proficient using Planning software and MS products inc Excel. You will have proven experience in a similar role as well as be able to manage information in an orderly fashion and be capable of working to tight deadlines.
