We are currently recruiting for Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team in Earl Shilton and surrounding areas within a 5-mile radius. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time hours, we offer flexible working patterns, including evenings, weekends, or shifts that accommodate childcare needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Domiciliary Care Worker at 4yourcare Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, person-centred care to service users in their own homes. You will be involved in a variety of tasks that enhance the daily lives of the people you care for.
Your duties will include:
• Personal Care: Assisting with tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication monitoring.
• Medication Assistance: Administering medications according to care plans.
• Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping with meal planning, preparation, and supporting shopping tasks.
• Domestic Support: Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep.
• Community Engagement: Supporting service users to access the community, socialise, and engage in leisure activities.
• Manual Handling: Providing support with mobility and using equipment where necessary.
• Health and Wellbeing: Promoting the health, independence, and overall wellbeing of service users, enabling them to live life to the fullest.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate care records and promptly reporting any changes or concerns about the service user’s condition.
• Flexible Shift Patterns: Availability to work a range of shifts, including alternate weekends.
You will be expected to treat each individual with dignity, respect, and compassion, maintaining high standards of care. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to promoting the autonomy and independence of those we care for.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
• Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Training:
• Essential: Willingness to complete mandatory training, including the Care Certificate.
Experience:
• Essential: Previous experience working in a care environment or as a carer.
• Desirable: Experience caring for family or friends.
Skills:
• Essential:
o Ability to listen attentively and build rapport with service users.
o A caring, empathetic, and professional approach to all aspects of care.
o A good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
o Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
o Ability to work independently and use initiative.
o Excellent communication skills.
• Desirable:
o Full clean driving licence.
o IT literate and experience with electronic recording and rostering systems.
Personal Attributes:
