Summary

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their wellbeing and assisting them in daily activities. Your ability to communicate effectively and your understanding of care plans will be vital in making a positive impact on their lives.

Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence.
- Communicate regularly with families and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made.
- Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities to foster development.
- Utilise IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Experience
- Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with individuals and their families.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between locations.
- Experience in childcare settings will be an advantage, enhancing your capability to connect with young individuals.
