Summary

As an SEN Tutor, you will work with students who require additional learning support, delivering personalised lessons that cater to their individual needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, multi-sensory lessons, using a range of teaching strategies to enhance learning and build confidence. This role involves working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, tailored lessons to students with a variety of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.

Provide one-to-one tuition in a range of subjects, supporting students in achieving their learning goals.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Cambridge
- Position - tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - dependent on each student
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
