Stratford

Our partner maintained nursery in Stratford is seeking a male teaching assistant to support the Two Year Old room in their OUTSTANDING provision.

Having worked with them for 4 years we are confident you will feel at ease very quickly.

In your role, you will be integrating childcare with early learning. You will spend significant periods of time outdoors as well as inside.

We are looking for someone who:
- Isn't afraid to get messy in the mud kitchen

- Can share a hearty, imaginative conversation over a cup of invisible tea and cake

- Brings stories to life whilst reading books, helping children build a rich and growing vocabulary

- Knows when to step into play to extend learning, and when to stand back and observe

While play is at the heart of the provision, the team also excels in building strong relationships with families and writing meaningful observations that celebrate each child's progress. You will be confident in handling challenges calmly and supportively, helping to instil trust and reassurance in both parents and colleagues.

We require that you hold a minimum Level Three in Childcare or are a qualified Early Year Educator and have experience.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- Enhanced DBS for working with Children on the update service (or be prepared to apply for one)
- Previous experience of working in a nursery
- Right to work in the UK
- Full time availability Monday to Friday
- Have a minimum Level 3 qualification
- Experience supporting two - three year olds with knowledge of EYFS is highly desirable

Parking available on site with close links to train station and bus stop.
