- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, with a particular focus on physical education and sports
- Work closely with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and guidance, ensuring they reach their full potential
- Organise and lead sports activities, training sessions, and competitions, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom and sports environment, adhering to school policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and extracurricular activities
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in education, sports science, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching assistant qualification
- Proven experience working with children or young adults in an educational or sports setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of various sports and physical education techniques
- First Aid and safeguarding certifications (desirable)
