Job Advert

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Pay and Benefits Coordinator to join our People Services team. You will
provide high-quality support in the delivery of reward, benefits, pay, pensions, and wellbeing services across Torus. In this
role, you will be a key point of contact for colleagues, helping to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits,
promoting employee wellbeing, and supporting improvements to systems and processes. You will work closely with the Pay and
Benefits team to provide an efficient, compliant, and professional service.




What You Will Be Doing:




* Supporting the promotion and administration of Torus’ Reward, Wellbeing, and Benefits offers.
* Ensuring payroll, pensions, and benefits information is accurately entered, processed, recorded, and quality checked.
* Acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers, investigating and resolving pay, benefits, and pension queries.
* Assisting with People Services systems administration, including LGPS and GPP schemes, mileage, new starters, leavers, holiday
trading, and other changes.
* Supporting statutory and year-end returns and reports.
* Promoting inclusion, equality, and safeguarding across all People Services activities.
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, supporting system development and value-for-money initiatives.
* Supporting audits, investigations, and process compliance.




What We Are Looking For:




* GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 4 or equivalent).
* Experience in a Reward, Benefits, Payroll, or Pensions role with high levels of customer interaction.
* Strong administrative skills, with experience maintaining accurate manual and electronic records.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Experience of promoting benefits or delivering face-to-face presentations.
* Competent in IT, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and ways of working.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a busy, ever-changing environment.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and high standards of customer service.
* Relevant qualifications such as CIPD or CIPP, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience, are desirable.




Interview Process:




* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview. Interviews will take place on the
14th and 15th January 2026 at our Liverpool City Centre office.
