Summary
Suitable candidates will be required to have proven Cellular Pathology knowledge, experience and successfully completed their IBMS registration portfolio. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are self-motivated, organised and participating in CPD activities. You will be working alongside Medical Laboratory Assistants, Assistant Practitioners, Biomedical Scientists, Junior Medical staff and Consultant Pathologists and will be expected to rotate through all sections of the laboratory and take part in our early/late rotas following relevant training. The department currently uses digital pathology and Vantage workflow management systems. The successful candidate will be required to engage fully with this process and support day to day running and development of the service.
