Summary

Neway International are seeking a Care Navigator (Social Care Non-Qualified) to join our client based with Wirral MBC.

Location: 2 Alice Square, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41 2YA
Hours: 36 per week, Monday–Friday (2 days remote, 3 days office-based)
Start Date: 13/01/2026
Duration: 12 weeks (extended after review)
Pay Rates: £18.86 PAYE / £24.20 Umbrella

The Care Navigator role is central to helping individuals and families find the support they need quickly and effectively.

The Role
As a Care Navigator, you will act as the first point of contact for individuals seeking advice and support in relation to adult social care. You will provide guidance, signposting, and coordination to ensure service users are connected with appropriate resources and professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Provide information, advice, and guidance to individuals accessing adult care services.

Act as a link between service users, carers, and professionals to ensure coordinated support.

Assist with navigating local services, including health, social care, and community resources.

Maintain accurate records of interactions and referrals in line with council policies.

Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring individuals feel supported and respected.

Work flexibly across remote and office-based settings to meet service demands.

Candidate Requirements
Experience in a customer-facing or advisory role, ideally within social care or health services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.

Organisational skills to manage multiple enquiries and referrals efficiently.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
