Summary
We are seeking a reliable and flexible person to join our small team in Ripley, Surrey
This is a varied role, where every day is different, but the same high standards apply constantly. It would suit someone with practical cutting machine skills and who has a full, clean driving licence and is able to deliver our sheds to customers.
TIMBER CUTTER ROLE
Operating cutting machines for precise product sizes and shapes based on our customer orders
Using tools such as tape measures, cutting machines, rulers and drills
Maintaining equipment
Must adhere to safety regulations and use the correct protective equipment to prevent accidents while working on the machines in the factory
Operating saws to cut timber and with the ability to adjust saw equipment, interpret work orders and ensure cutting accuracy
Working as a team member with a good eye for detail
Excellent hand-eye co-ordination
DELIVERY DRIVER
Loading sheds onto vehicles
Drive to site
Carry buildings to build site
Liaise with customers when on site
Daily vehicle checks and making the Office Manager aware of any vehicle issues
Providing training to new employees when required
Adhering to all Site Health and Safety procedures
Ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained to a high standard
This role requires an organised, responsible individual with excellent driving skills, capable of managing deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. An understanding of warehouse processes and physical fitness for heavy lifting are beneficial qualities for success in this position
