As a Supervisor within Environmental Services, you will ensure the safe, professional, and efficient delivery of operational services. You’ll lead and manage a dedicated team in a demanding commercial environment, overseeing day-to-day service delivery and ensuring standards, productivity, and quality are met while maintaining health and safety compliance.
What you’ll do as Supervisor:
Supervise and co-ordinate programme works as required.
Ensure all documentation is completed within specified deadlines.
Monitor and inspect work standards, addressing issues promptly.
Implement contract requirements and specifications for all works.
Communicate and achieve key performance indicators.
Report progress and operational matters to your line manager.
Contribute ideas for service improvements as part of the management team.
Be available for emergencies and manage daily operational changes.
Support continual improvement and best practice initiatives.
Commercial and Financial:
Manage resources proactively to meet and exceed commercial expectations.
People:
Recruit, induct, supervise, and lead colleagues effectively.
Conduct regular performance management and resolve issues promptly.
Manage training and development needs and coordinate courses.
Promote health and safety, systems, and machinery best practices.
Foster open communication and employee engagement.
Health and Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including PPE.
Uphold policies and procedures and distribute safety communications.
Monitor daily inspection and reporting for plant and vehicles.
