Team: Asset Maintenance and Repairs

The post holder will be expected to Support the relevant foreman in the provision of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service for the Asset Maintenance and Repairs section. This will include the manufacture and installation of UPVC windows and doors, general trades maintenance, improvements and refurbishments to domestic and untenanted properties in more than one trade discipline.

The postholder will pre-inspect, repair, renew and identify required resources and materials needed to undertake window fabrication and building maintenance works to ensure the efficient use resources.

You will become part of a dynamic team delivering reactive repairs/planned maintenance works to our homes.

The successful candidate must have an excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a dynamic approach to the role and be able to lead by example.

For the role, we ask that you have:

Completed a recognised time served apprenticeship and/or completion of an accredited Building Craft Training scheme or NVQ Level 2 qualification in an appropriate trade.
Knowledge of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety issues relating to the post.
Relevant experience within a UPVC window and door fabrication, repairs, maintenance, refurbishment or new build environment.
