What’s the Job?
We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Instructor to deliver mandatory and in-house training courses to professionals within the health and social care industry.
The Commercial Development and Delivery Team are responsible for delivering a variety of professional qualifications, including certificated and bespoke courses, in a College that aims to be one step ahead.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Health & Social Care Instructor with current, relevant qualifications and experience to deliver a range of mandatory and bespoke training courses to the health and social care sector, including:
Moving and Handling People
Infection Control
Medication Awareness
Adult Support and Protection
You will be suitably qualified and experienced in health and social care practice. Experience of delivering certificated courses would be an advantage, but training and support will be provided.
To succeed in this role, you will have some or all of the following:
A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Practical experience working within a care setting is essential.
A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
Experience delivering mandatory or certificated training courses (e.g., Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness) is desirable.
Strong customer service, organisation, teamworking, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific systems.
Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
Full UK Driving Licence
