Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager - London

Join Kier Transportation as a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager and lead the way in creating safer, greener highways across London.

Location: Union Street, London with travel to local depots required and some remote workingHours: Permanent, Full-time 40 hours per week - flexible options availableSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 + £6,700 annual car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits



What you'll do

As our SHE Manager, you'll take ownership of health, safety, and environmental performance across London Highways projects. You'll ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements, and Kier standards while driving a positive safety culture across multiple sites and depots.

Your key responsibilities will include:

-Leading all SHE activities across London, ensuring legal compliance and best practice

-Developing and implementing SHE strategies and plans to improve performance

-Conducting site inspections and audits, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement

-Coaching and mentoring operational teams and supply chain partners to embed safety culture

-Managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems and collaborating with clients to deliver innovative SHE solutions



What we're looking for

This role of SHE Manager is perfect if you have:

-IOSH membership and a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety

-Proven experience in a similar SHE role with strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation

-Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards

-Experience in temporary traffic management and highways projects
