Crynodeb
In this role you will:
Maintain and update website content in line with house style and SEO best practices
Prepare and publish content for web and social media
Monitor and report on website performance using analytics tools
Assist with live online events and audience engagement
Create and schedule social media content, including sponsored posts
Moderate online discussions and identify opportunities for new content
Stay current with digital communications trends and continuously seek way to improve Chemistry World’s online effectiveness.
What we are looking for:
Degree level qualification in a scientific field and current understanding of the science landscape
Experience of writing and proof-reading content for the web, including social media, with excellent attention to detail
Experience with web analytics tools including social media monitoring, search engine optimisation and content management systems
Highly organised and able to coordinate and prioritise multiple workflows, develop and improve upon existing solutions
Ability to understand and contribute to the magazine’s overall objectives and strategy
At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate. Although this role is contractually based at our Cambridge office, you will be able to work from home within the UK, with the expectation that you will attend the office as and when required.
