Ark is looking for a strategic and forward-thinking leader to join our leadership team as Head of Finance & Digital Improvement. This newly expanded position builds on our existing Finance and IT functions, bringing them together under one strategic role to accelerate digital transformation and operational resilience.

As Head of Finance & Digital Improvement, you will lead a talented team, drive financial performance, and champion digital strategies that enhance the lives of those we support. Your work will influence executive decision-making and long-term strategy, ensuring Ark remains at the forefront of technology-enabled care and housing services.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Digital Improvement, you will deputise as required and act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team, Board, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of long-term financial and digital strategies.

• Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

• Oversee statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards.

• Drive digital transformation and ICT improvements aligned with organisational needs.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders.

• Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and development for the Finance & Digital team.

The ideal candidate will have experience as part of a senior leadership team, driving strategic initiatives and demonstrating inspiring leadership. You will maintain continuously developed skills, knowledge, and expertise through structured CPD as a Chartered Accountant.
