Crynodeb
A half day per month is dedicated to medical audit and teaching. This is hospital policy and all staff medical, physiotherapists and outpatient staff are expected to attend. There is also a directorate meeting held during this period, in which dermatology is part of an Outpatient Focus Group which reports to the Medical Directorate. There is a regular Dermatology Departmental Team Meeting, comprising representatives of the nursing staff and managers, pharmacists etc. where all aspects of care for dermatology patients are discussed. The Skin Cancer Network and MDTs need to be attended. The Division of Medicine expects CPD to be maintained. The post does not come with on-call commitments; however advice to wards/ED may be required. Please refer to the attached job description & person specification for further details.
