Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in the ST5 area of Longport. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided to help you succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across designated areas
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
Maintain the organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand specific cleaning requirements
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
Basic proficiency in English, with good communication skills to interact with team members and clients
Previous experience in customer service or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 3.30pm - 6.30pm. this is only a 43 week site so the pay is pro rata which means your hourly rate will reduce but spread over 52 weeks so you still get paid in all the holidays. There are 4 weeks deep clean thru the holidays.
Payday: 5th working day of every month
