Job Overview
We are seeking Mobile Cleaners to work in the North West (Manchester, Stockport, Tameside, Sandbach areas) to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and educational premises. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and presentable, contributing to a welcoming environment for clients, pupils, their visitors and staff alike.
Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial and school cleaning procedures are required. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, classrooms and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
Empty bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste responsibly.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to maintain clarity and shine.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning materials.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial and school cleaning or janitorial roles is required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to operate various cleaning machinery and tools safely.
Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards.
Punctuality is a must as we only have certain times to get in and complete the cleans
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean environments and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting. Applicants should be organised, diligent, and committed to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards at all times.
95% of the time your work times will be between 6am - 9am then 2.30pm - 9pm. It can vary depending on which site you are at.
We all get paid on the 5th working day of the month
