Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Fierté Multi-Academy Trust requires an inspirational Head of School to work collaboratively to drive a culture of high expectation at Wilnecote Junior Academy – an inclusive and welcoming large junior school within a highly cohesive community near Tamworth.
Following the current post-holder’s retirement, we seek to appoint a suitably experienced and aspirational candidate to work in close collaboration with the Executive Headteacher giving the pupils of Wilnecote the quality of education they fully deserve.
You will have a proven track record of high-quality teaching and learning. You will join an ambitious, forward thinking, and well-regarded community-based Trust. You will head a team passionate about helping children develop both personally and academically. You will lead on significant areas of school improvement.
Wilnecote Junior Academy is looking to appoint a committed and passionate Head of School to:
• Foster in all pupils and colleagues an absolute feeling of belonging, self-worth, high aspiration, and independence, alongside the self-belief that there are no limits to what they can personally accomplish.
• Deliver the school’s vision for excellence in an inclusive environment.
• Champion and live our Trust values:we care, we leave no one behind, we celebrate individuality, and we are brave.
• Advocate and live the school’s PRIDE virtues of perseverance, respect, inquisitiveness, determination and enthusiasm.
• Proactively collaborate with others in school and across the Trust - generously sharing knowledge and skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.
