Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Trinity Academy Grammar
Vice Principal Inclusion
Salary: L20-L24 (£82,654 - £91,157)
Trinity Academy Grammar is an ambitious and inclusive 11-16 academy that has had a plethora of successes. For example, two years ago Ofsted graded the academy as good with outstanding features in Leadership and Personal Development. Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and this role is pivotal in terms of shaping the next five years. We are seeking a passionate and committed leader who wants to make a difference to the lives of every young person who walks through our doors. To ensure we meet the needs of every student, we have developed a number of additional provisions and have invested heavily in the staffing of our pastoral teams. The Vice Principal Inclusion, will ensure the further development of these provisions and the staff involved in them.
These provisions include:
An off-site tier two Alternative Provision (Trinity Academy Carlton Mill)
A Resource Provision for children with autism
A SEMH SEND provision
An EAL base
A Wellbeing Hub
The Vice Principal Inclusion will work alongside other senior leaders, a vast pastoral team, our Lead Teacher – Behaviour and Culture, as well as an experienced Personal Development team. We have invested heavily in these areas to ensure we achieve great things for all students.
If you are a senior leader in a secondary setting, with the vision to drive the strategic direction and development of the academy’s student support provision, this role offers an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the further development of Trinity Academy Grammar. You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an ambitious forward-thinking Academy Trust. The successful candidate must be passionate about improving students’ life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education and committed to achieving excellent results for the students. You must have a strong work ethic and high expectations of yourself and others and have the ability to lead staff and students in realising those expectations.
This role will appeal to a number of prospective candidates: leaders seeking progression and their next challenge, or a current deputy/vice principal looking to hone their leadership skills. For candidates with the necessary experience, this role would offer additional responsibilities and development opportunities so that, if they choose to, they would be ready to lead their own school within three years.
If you would like to visit the Academy or arrange a conversation with our Principal, please contact Jwood@grammar.trinitymat.org
