Summary

Gi Group are working with in partnership their client in Portadown to attract and recruit Food Production Operatives to join the team.

The site are going through a programme of expansion and are bringing new and diverse products to the site hence there is a requirement for an increase in staff to join the business on a Temporary ongoing basis.

Role Overview:

You will be required to work in a quick paced food manufacturing environment, working on a production line where you'll be expected to work as part of a team, have a keen eye for detail, maintain health and safety, food safety and internal standards, systems and processes.

You will be responsible for :

Following standard work in terms of systems and processes
Identify, rectify and report production issues
Inspect materials for any quality issues
Perform set up and changeovers within the production areas
Record and collect data as per requirements of the product and management
Quality Checks of products and machinery , pre, during and post production
The above list is not exhaustive but to illustrate the requirements of the role

Full training will be provided , however we are looking for individuals with an eagerness to learn and be developed.

Hours of work are between : 06.00 - 14.30 Monday to Friday £12.21ph for the 1st 6 month then up to £12.60ph after 6 months full service .

Evening Shift Monday to Thursday : 14:30 to 01:00am - starting at £13.42ph for 1st 6 months then up to £14.02ph after 6 months full service .
