Summary
Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities Main duties include: Responsible for weekly procurement across multiple teams of varying professions & differing requirements. Inclusive of ordering, receipting, unpacking & stock balancing of all deliveries within service remit of medical consumables, stationery, electronical and non-electronical devices. Responsible for the management of Specialist Patient Orders, liaising directly with suppliers, patients and care providers. Responsible for the management of all OPAC uniform, inclusive of laundering, stock control, procurement whilst ensuring uniform policy compliance. Ensuring that Trust & service level information resource compliancy is adhered to, inclusive of replenishment & ordering from third parties. Responsible for medical device compliance, including servicing & repair of essential clinical equipment by liaising with third party organisations. Perform manual handling tasks as required, including lifting and moving medical equipment and supplies. Inputting and updating service user information and service user/team activity on computerised information systems, creating service user notes where necessary and according to policy. Maintain filing in both paper and electronic records, ensuring that it is always kept up to date in accordance with Trust procedures. Effectively manage and prioritise your own workload while working autonomously across multiple sites. Ensure adherence to lone working protocols and maintain a strong focus on personal safety at all times. Countywide travel to 20+ locations as required by service needs. Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. Reception duties as directed. Provide operational support, supervision, training, mentorship, and cover to/of colleagues as directed by line manager. Providing a high level of administrative support to our clinical teams, building good professional relationships whilst setting & ensuring remit boundaries.
