About the role
At the School of Health, Education, Policing & Science at University of Staffordshire we have an exciting portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a strong history of nursing, midwifery and nursing associate education. We are keen to recruit a Lecturer in Midwifery to provide maternity cover until 31st August 2026 supporting our midwifery provision. You will be joining a well-established team with a wealth of experience both clinically and academically. The school is highly interdisciplinary in nature, and a great place to develop a distinctive academic portfolio. Whilst this position is fixed-term full time, consideration will be given to applications for part-time hours or job share arrangements.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who has demonstrable excellent subject knowledge in midwifery, with a passion to teach and shape the next generation of clinicians.

• Teaching in a Higher Education setting
• Experience of research and writing for publication
