Job Description:
Role: Sweeper Driver
CIS rate: £14.50 per hour
Location: Springwell Quarry
We are expanding our team and are recruiting an experienced Road Sweeper driver to join our fleet. You will be responsible for operating the vehicle at our Springwell Quarry site and the surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
As a Sweeper driver, you will have:
A valid HGV Cat C license
Tachograph card
CPC Qualification
A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Sweeper Driver
Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Valid right to work in the UK
