Summary
We’re continuing to grow our business and are looking for a Non Working Foreperson to join our Planned Works team in Hampshire to support the operational delivery of our essential upgrading works to client properties, ensuring the work is conducted safely, professionally and to the required standards, always.
You’ll be overseeing work on our Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment contracts, covering areas across Hampshire and into Oxfordshire. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll act as a link between the office and our sites.

The Non-Working Foreperson role:
You will be assisting in the day to day running of all planned work streams
You will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in the supervision of up to 16 operatives
Streams will include but are not limited to, Kitchen and bathroom upgrades, re-roofing, external decorations, EWI and warm washing works.
Health and Safety reporting. You will complete on site welfare checks including monitoring safe ways of working, PPE, tool/equipment inspections.
Delivery of regular toolbox talks
Assist the Contracts Manager with Pre work inspections, set-ups and post inspections of work completed
What will you bring as a Foreperson?
Qualified to an NVQ level 2 or similar, in a core trade, preferred but not essential
A focus on Health & Safety
Good knowledge of basic IT skills
SSSTS would be beneficial
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional attitude towards work, and the ability to lead and get the best out of your team
You will be taking responsibility and handling the day-to-day operational queries and decisions
Planned maintenance experience from social housing would be an advantage.
The possession of a full current UK Driving Licence, which is essential to undertake the Foreperson role.
