About the role
The Apprenticeship Department is now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Bricklaying and Civil Engineering Tutor to join our well-established team.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will work closely with VTC, Performance Manager and Operation Manager to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our apprentices on the bricklaying, construction support technician and Design technician apprenticeship standard.
About the person
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills with a strong focus on learner engagement and professional standards. They will be well-organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Bricklaying/Civil Engineering.
Candidates should also have:
• Level 3 or above qualification in Brickwork.
• Prior experience working in a construction environment.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed).
• Competence in using ICT to support teaching, learning, and assessment.
