Summary
Main duties
· Enforce Health, Safety and Environmental policies
· Support in the recruitment, motivation, development and retention of the best people
· Effectively support the development of engineers and sub-contractor capabilities
· Achieve the highest standards of quality, service and presentation of the business
· Support the effectively delivery of PPM and reactive works
· Foster client relationships and develop a culture of trust and respect
· Provide engineering support on technical improvement · Day to day management of relevant employees including conduct, performance, attendance and capability. Taking the necessary and appropriate actions to address any inappropriate behaviour or low standards, with support and advice from HR · Attendance on HR related courses to ensure competence in dealing with people management responsibilities · Monitor changes in legislation and support the dissemination into the operation / teams · Identify training needs specifically for CORGI, NICEIC and HV. · Ensure company compliance with statutory regulations · Liaise with client Technical Team on technical issues and provide cost effective solutions. · Liaise with outside agencies on technical matters · Support the operations teams in control and management of specialist sub-contractors where necessary · To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time · To understand and comply with policies and procedures · To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner · To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required · To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Person Specification
· Technically Qualified Engineer to HNC/ONC level - HVAC or dual trade (or equivalent)
· Previous technical experience in a relevant technical role
· Previous supervisory experience preferred · Good people management skills/capability · Able to communicate well with both internal and external customers · Basic Computer literacy
