Summary
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all customers and visitors, creating a memorable experience through excellent customer care, attentiveness, and efficiency.
• Actively encourage visitors to make donations and complete gift aid forms
• Ensure the centre is cared for by undertaking housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure the building and artefacts are kept to the highest standards.
• Promote the centre and the local area, whilst maintaining accurate records of visitor numbers.
• Undertake reception duties including telephone enquiries.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out safely and in line with High Life Highland’s Health & Safety policies.
• Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance.
• Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Broch Centre and High Life Highland as a whole.
• Attend and undertake any training online or in person.
• Aim to reduce wastage and uphold our environmental values of being as sustainable as possible in all tasks.
• Assist and support other areas of High Life Highland with particular projects, training or in the event of holidays or sickness working cross-functionally across the team.
• Undertake all tasks in accordance with High Life Highland policies and procedures, including General Data Protection Regulations, health and safety procedures, relevant checks, reporting any concerns to management to ensure corrective action is taken.
• Work on a rota basis, including weekends, ensuring you are up to date with rostered shifts and give advance notice of any leave requests for consideration.
