About the Role
Search Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Hoist Operative to work on a busy construction project in Edinburgh city centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a professional site team on a long-term project.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating passenger and material hoists in accordance with site and manufacturer regulations
* Ensuring the safe transportation of personnel and materials
* Carrying out daily safety checks and reporting any faults or defects
* Maintaining clear communication with site management and trades
* Adhering strictly to all health & safety procedures and site rules
Requirements
* Valid Hoist Operator Ticket (e.g. CPCS / NPORS with CSCS logo)
* CSCS card
* Proven experience operating hoists on construction sites
* Strong awareness of health & safety standards
* Punctual, reliable, and professional approach to work
