We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team to support the delivery of our commercial projects.
Job summary:
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing team and lead the delivery of commercial‑scale battery energy storage systems. From contract negotiation through to commissioning, hand‑over and ongoing operational support, you will ensure each project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of medium‑kW to multi‑MW BESS projects, driving them to completion on time and within budget.
• Plan and control project schedules, budgets, logistics, and deliverables, keeping all stakeholders aligned.
• Maintain the risk register, conduct regular assessments, and guarantee compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – electrical, mechanical, electronics engineers and software developers – to solve technical challenges quickly.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, partners and external stakeholders to keep the project pipeline flowing smoothly.
• Create compelling proposals, scopes of work and bid packages for new BESS opportunities.
• Manage client relationships, lead progress meetings, and act as the primary point of contact for technical updates.
• Support business development by nurturing leads, representing the company at conferences, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of project‑management tools, processes and best practices across the organisation.
Who You Are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing renewable‑energy projects, preferably commercial or utility‑scale energy‑storage, solar PV or other power‑generation assets.
• Strong leadership skills, problem solving capabilities with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of safety, quality, societal impact and environmental stewardship.
