AsResident Medical Officer, youll play a crucial role providing On Call cover forCygnet Hospital Oldbury.This is our 27 bed state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women, in the West Midlands. TheRMOis the Doctorcovering On Calls between 5pm and 9am on weekdays and weekends. Generally the RMO will workon a rota of4 days on / 3 days offevery week. Advice and guidance is available from the Consultants On Call and weekly supervision will be offered within the above hours. Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified An excellent clinical decision maker, with sound judgement, the ability to manage risk & know when to ask for help Preferably experienced in Psychiatry Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes Committed to continued professional development Cygnethave been providing a national network of high-quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.
