Summary
Grade UE02: £24,547 per annum plus a 5% Premium Band for flexible working
Department: Accommodation, Catering and Events (ACE)
Location: The Scott, The Scholar and KM Hotels
Full time: 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends
Open Ended: Permanent Contract
The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity in our hotel kitchen team, part of the University of Edinburgh, and are looking for an enthusiastic and team-player kitchen porter.
Have you got a passion for hospitality? Are you looking to progress your career within a world class organisation and develop your skills further? You will work both by yourself and assist other chefs during your shift, ensuring high quality hygiene standards are served in the kitchen across our three properties, which have undergone significant investment and refurbishment.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Kitchen experience in a hospitality setting.
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen at the highest possible standards.
Take pride in delivering a memorable service to hotel guests.
Ensure that all Health & safety requirements are met whilst on shift to ensure a safe environment is provided and all our legal obligations met.
Impeccable standards and an eye for detail.
Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude.
Continuously look to improve our standards; menu offering and deliver world-class hospitality.
Be an ambassador for our brand and catering operation.
