Swindon | ⏰ 40 hours per week | Pay TBC
Quarry Mount Residential Care Home is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Person to join our friendly and supportive team.
This role involves carrying out general maintenance duties to ensure our care home remains safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• General maintenance including decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry and gardening
• Routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep of the building and grounds
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Promptly reporting and resolving maintenance issues
• Interacting professionally and respectfully with residents and staff
About You:
• Previous experience in a maintenance role
• Competent in general repairs and property maintenance
• Compassionate and understanding, particularly when working around residents with dementia
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
• Friendly and professional manner
Essential Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check required (must be completed prior to employment)
