Summary
We currently have an exciting permanent position for a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Neonatology within the Children and Young People’s Directorate at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic Consultant to join our team. They will deliver exceptional care to children, young people, and their families.
The postholder will be expected to work 10 PA contracts and will have Consultant of the week and on call responsibility for the neonatal ward.
The service may be able to be flexible with specialist interests and PAs, depending on the skillsets of successful applicant. This will be agreed on appointment and in job planning meetings with the Clinical Director and General Manager.
As well as being able to provide clinical expertise in all aspects of paediatric care, successful applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills whilst demonstrating compassion, flexible thinking and the ability to prioritise a highly demanding workload. They will need to be excellent team players with motivation to strive for excellence.
Applicants must be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining specialist registration at the time of interview. They must possess a Licence to Practise.
