Summary
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operator based in Goole. The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Responsibilities include loading and unloading items, adhering to delivery schedules, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction with timely deliveries. The role also involves coordinating with team members to ensure proper handling of goods and adherence to company protocols. Additional responsibilities include operating forklifts safely and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires efficient management of inventory and maintaining a well-organized workspace.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service to ensure positive interaction with clients during deliveries
• Proficiency and experience in Forklift Operation
• Experience in handling deliveries
• Valid driver's license
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred
